Design for great rooms takes time and intention. When several spaces are visible at the same time, they need to speak to each other in a cohesive way. While each space can have a little bit of its own personality, they need to feel like they belong together.

 

This is the main hang-out space in this home, so a large-scale, luxurious sofa perfect for lounging was a must to anchor the room. From there, we added loads of other seating for great conversation areas and for taking in the views.
